Horrible experience! I had a very demeaning experience a few years ago with I believe Dr. Nash (if not him someone who is no longer with practice). I was unable to get my test results or even a copy of them and had multiple communication issues. Fast forward a few years and my husband is referred to them for sperm testing. Goes gets the testing done and they refuse to explain the results to him. So they are willing to do testing and be paid for testing but not willing to discuss results? Even my husbands PCP is at a loss. Even though they are the closest doctors around I rather travel to Pennsylvania than ever deal with them again.
I absolutely love this practice! Everyone has been lovely. The testing I’ve received thus far has been thorough, concise, and very quick to begin. The two-way texting service is a dream, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and I’ve never felt more comfortable in a medical setting before. I am so excited to have started my journey here!
I cannot say better things about the staff at this office and more specifically Christy Mackay. I met with Christy at the previous obgyn office she worked for and she started me on my journey though infertility, once she told me she was going to RGI to work I decided to move my infertility journey and follow her because of how much I loved her! She is so kind, personable and shared so much excitement for me when I had my successful IUI. I wouldn’t have wanted to start and finish my journey with anyone else. My baby is now 5 months old and I couldn’t be more grateful for RGI.
AVOID this clinic at all costs. I gave 1 star because I could not leave 0.I found the to be highly unethical, dishonest (flat out lied to us), and took a whole five minutes to explain what they thought our best course of action was and why.Long story short - they told us and our insurance they are in network for fertility services. We go through testing - which the testing they did (HSG) ended up being poorly performed, and also flat out wrong. They advised based on my HSG, that I had a blocked fallopian tube and we should immediately do IVF, told us we had insurance coverage for fertility services, which we do, and they are in network. I get a phone call out of the blue from a very not nice individual saying that they actually they dont accept insurance for IVF, and that we would need to pay $14,000 at my first baseline ultrasound. This infuriated my husband and I, and our insurance attempted to contact them multiple times as this was misrepresented to our insurance and healthcare concierge as well.We ultimately left the practice, and went to Family Fertility Center in Bethlehem even though it was five hours away and involved significant travel, and staying overnight with family nearby for appointments. The FFC accepts insurance for fertility treatments - such as IUI and IVF. Dr. Lee of FFC was always suspicious the HSG performed by RGI was not accurate. We did an IUI within three months of switching clinics, got pregnant, but miscarried. We did a second IUI once I recovered from the miscarriage, and I am now 35 weeks pregnant with our baby boy - something RGI insisted would not be possible without IVF (and paying them cash for treatment).I cannot emphasize how little RGI cares about their patients, how little time they spend with you, and how you feel like it is a revolving door of hopeful parents looking for answers only to be treated terribly. Please consider other options before becoming a patient at this clinic.EDIT: after seeing the response from the business indicating they had no record of me as a patient, I would like to reiterate I was in fact a patient at RGI, and have a file with all my receipts from bills I paid this practice My initial consult was in December 2021, testing was done in December 2022, and the HSG done in January 2022. We left that clinic by February within one week of my follow up zoom with Dr. Maseelall. I visited the Akron and Youngstown office.I saw Dr. Priya Maseelall once in person for ten minutes, and again on a video call for maybe ten minutes. The HSG that ended up being completely wrong was performed by Dr. Jessica Zolton. My goal in updating this review is to emphasize how awful of a practice this is, and to warn other families to stay away and find a clinic that cares about you and your partner as individuals and not potential cash cows walking through their doors. We had a short wait to get started at the Family Fertility Center, but by April we had started our first IUI and by May 2022 got our first positive test.Again, I think it says a lot about RGI that they can respond to a negative business review posted on a public platform within a few hours, but are not nearly as responsive when you are an actual patient. Absolutely disgraceful.
Dr.Maseelal and the team are simply amazing! Without them I wouldn’t Be pregnant today. Everyone here has been so welcoming and makes you feel so comfortable that’s all you want when going through infertility. They are all so nice I definitely would recommend them to anyone.
My wife Megan and I tried having a baby on our own for while with no success. After another year of unsuccessful attempts with the guidance of her gynecologist, we were referred to Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility. We worked closely with Dr. Nash and Dr. Maseelall. Both doctors were absolutely amazing in their own ways. Dr. Nash is extremely knowledgeable and doesnt waste your time. He provides you with a lot of information up front with what is going on and suggests the best plan of attack going forward. Dr. Maseelall is so kind hearted and treated us like family. Her love for what she does radiated each time we saw her. Our journey to pregnancy was not easy, but was made possible with the love and care of this office. We are currently 11 weeks pregnant and are expecting this summer. A special shout out goes to Sharon and Jen for all the care they showed my wife and I. We were so nervous about going here our first day, but all worries went away after our first visit and we looked forward to each day we visited the office. We are going to miss our time here, but we will definitely be back when we are ready for our next child. Highly recommend Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility to anyone looking for these services and you will not be disappointed with your experience here!
I want to leave this review in the hopes that if there is someone out there who needs to read these words, they find them. I am sure this office is wonderful and they go above and beyond to help people achieve their dreams. In my experience, since I was visiting the clinic for a hormone issue as opposed to needing help getting pregnant, I was very easily cast aside. I got no support for any problems I was having. I was told that I could make an appointment at the Akron office to be told, again, my diagnosis, and to be told, again, how they could get me pregnant. The emphasis is solely on getting pregnant at this office, anyway possible. Perhaps this is a route that some might like to take, but I was never given the support and information that would allow me to feel comfortable in taking any next steps with this clinic. I have to believe that there are better places out there for women dealing with hormonal issues that impact their fertility. Do your research.
I cannot say enough about the staff at RGI. My husband and I tried for a baby for several years with no success. Dr. Maseelall gave me hope and made my dream come true. After 3 IUIs, I’m finally pregnant and couldn’t be more excited. I primarily went to the Canfield office.. where Jen and Sharon were so nice and friendly. The staff in Akron are also very nice and compassionate. I recommend RGI and Dr Maseelall to anyone struggling with fertility and looking for a professional and compassionate clinic 💖💙💖
I been to serval places before I tried RGI, those places they didnt care and never reply message or gave me good advise. I started seeing Dr Maseelall last year September, she and nurses talked to us and asked a lot of details and suggested a plan. After three cycles of medicine and one IUI, I finally got pregnant. Thank you all the staff, Dr Maseelall and Jen specially. Jen is the best, she talked to me if I was losing hope, she talked to me if I felt nervous, she replied my message quickly, I just couldnt say thank you enough for all the support. I highly recommended RGI, they had the experience and they know what they doing, they treat people nicely.
Ive been going to reproductive gynocology for well over ten years. They have helped me through infertility diagnosis, ivf, and three healthy pregnancies. Im so thankful for Dr. Massallal, her hopefulness and kindness and everyone there for the work they do. I know it cant be easy dealing with depressed infertile women all day. We just want answers and to her pregnant like everyone else but we cant. And the cost of everything is a huge burden but we are strong women! I cant thank reproductive gynocology enough for the blessings
Reproductive Gynecology and Infertility is amazing they treat you like family and returned any of my phone calls within an hour. I can not say enough and thank them enough for the gift of my son. Wonderful team and facility would recommend to anyone.
I would give more stars if it was an option!!!!!! I love this place so much! The staff is incredible! So willing to take the time to explain everything, answer any questions, and give all available options. Our Dr. suggested we do clomid with IUI but we wanted to try clomid alone the first month. Never did she try to talk us out of our decision or make us feel bad for wanting to ease in (although I do recommend following their advice because they absolutely know best). The second month we ended up getting pregnant! I had no idea it could happen so fast for us. We are beyond thankful for everyone at RGI! Don’t hesitate. Call today! Don’t wait another moment.
Dr. Maseelall is tremendous. She is very competent and my wife and I felt comfortable under her care. She obviously cared about us and our situation. We had an emergency on a Sunday and Dr. Maseelall helped us immediately. No bureaucracy, no hesitation. We will forever be in her debt.
The staff at Reproductive Gynecology was extremely caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I had years of infertility and losses when I started going to their Youngstown office. Under their care I was able to have a baby and I couldnt say enough great things about their practice.
Wont return calls or answer messages last message reply I got was from a nurse and extremely rude. Looks like Ill be looking for a new doctor for IVF. Very disappointed in my experience with this doctor.
Dr. Maseelall is great. The staff is great. You can really tell that everybody there loves what they do. But like the other reviewers say: it is difficult to get through to this location on the phone.
The doctors are amazing but I can never get through to the office on the phone. I always have to leave a message and wait for them to call me back. I’m not allowed to have my phone on me at work which means we just play phone tag back and forth because they never call back when I can answer. Please, change your staffing so someone is available to answer the phone.
